SANTORINI, Greece

The Island of Santorini is part of the Greek Isles and is the biggest growing vacation destinations. The Island is famous for its picturesque blue domes of Greek-orthodox churches, which there are hundreds of because the Government, at one point, provided tax cuts to citizens who built a place of worship near their homes.

Santorini also sits on dormant, yet active volcano. Giving the island amazing geographical properties like incredibly high points such as the Prophet Ealias's monastery in the North of the island, to low points such as the black pebble and red sand beaches in the South of the island.
